We have been waiting and preparing with much anticipation for the annual photography retreat with Danielle Lancaster. Some were so keen to attend they arrived a day early, others took a plane to the wrong destination. All shall be around the campfire to share the tale this evening! Watch this space for the daily sharing of amazing images…..

In 2005, Noel Millerr and I launched the first retreat at Bunginderry Artist Camp with Noel as the inaugural tutor. Since then I have experienced Noel’s incredibel patience and kind guidance with students and his infectious zest for a creative way of life. I am thrilled th share his latest news with you all. This is what he had to say….
I am adding art classes to my art practice. I don’t know how many times I have been asked to teach, but until now that has been restricted to running workshops in the outback or rural towns. I have always said that everyone can draw. I think people have either had very bad experiences with parents or teachers or they were never really shown how to draw and paint just for their own enjoyment. That’s what I set out to do.
I am running the following weekly and monthly classes:
• Adult Beginners
• Adults Improving and Learning
• Children (after school classes)
• Workshops by me and by visiting artists
Classes will initially be held in Brisbane’s inner north west. Class size will be limited to 8 people each class. We will work with a variety of media. For those interested, we will also have an Artists Day once a month where we visit galleries and artists studios and soak ourselves in the world of fabulous art.
For the full program and further details, please see my new-look website: www.noelmiller.com.
All of us at Bunginderry Artist Camp hope Noel may find some time to come back and visit again someday!
